- In this chapter Hailey find out that Starr knew Kahlil and was upset that Starr didn't tell her She also blamed Starr's mood on her being upset that Kahlil died. This is unfortunate because they had a good friendship, but ended up that Hailey was racist and rude.
- In this chapter Devonte gets taken and beat up by KIng because he stole money from him. Seven came to get Devonte and see if his sisters were alright. His mom wound up finding them all in her house and she said she wanted them to get out and take seven sisters to, but later on Seven and all of them realised she was helping them leave and she had them take his sisters so they wouldn't get beat when king is upset.
- In this chapter The cop was announced not guilty and Starr was upset and wanted to join the riot, but when she got there she did no feel like it was right. Devonte was also chanting what the people where and not having to much care compared to Starr. At the end the cops showed up and the rioters were throwing things at the policy and they all knew that things were going to get bad so they went to help Maverick in his store.
