- THE BLACK SEA
- The weather is so nice today!
- Yeah! It is!
- Ruby and I planned to go sailing on our anniversary for 3 weeks longer than we usually sail.
- Here are the last of the supplies!
- The 3 weeks with Ruby and I were amazing. We sailed for a little less than 3 weeks because Ruby was feeling boat sick, but I still enjoyed every moment with her.
- What's happening?
- My wife Ruby and I lived off the coast of California, you. We had a beach house, and would sit in the sun talking for hours. Our sailboat, we call “Vince”, hovered upon the ocean shore. We would take 'em out every half-year to go sailing for a week.
- I waited for her in the boat for almost 5 minutes, I got worried, so I just went into the house.
- Once the day came, all our supplies were loaded for the 3 weeks: Boat shoes, thick layers of clothing, sunglasses, beach hats, blankets, sunscreen, hygiene kits, and a first-aid kit. We brought extra supplies: an extra first-aid kit, walkie-talkie incase of a NORMAL emergency.
- I winded up my umbrella waiting for the creature to get closer; when it did, I swung, smashing its head off.
- As we sailed closer to the coast the skies became more dull, and the ocean water became darker to the point where the ocean became black. When we made it, bodies were lined up across the shore. Ruby said she’d left something important on the house. she insisted she’d be quick.
- Herbody went cold as another creature ran into the room. I softly shut her eyes, took the envelope, grabbed the umbrella, stood up and aimed at the creature, then swung.
- I saw Ruby covered in blood, slightly conscious and a dull green decayed human-like creature was chewing on Ruby’s nose. I must’ve screamed because a second after that the creature stood up and ran for me. I grabbed the nearest thing I could find, an umbrella, as the creature growled toward me.
- NOOO!!
- GRRRR!!
- Black goo like substance splattered everywhere and the creature fell to the ground. I quickly dropped the umbrella and ran to Ruby and tried to cover her wounds. She lifted her hand that held an envelope, as I held her hand, I could hear her briefly say “Take it.”
- BAAMM!!
- I continued to bash the creatures until the umbrella was busted into merely a handle and the room coated in black. I dropped the umbrella handle and walked to our bedroom to read the envelope.
