- Dynasty is trapped on an island and she decides to try and grab an apple from the top of the tree. Dynasty is standing 5 feet away and looking at the tree at an angle of 56 degrees. She uses trig. to find out how tall the tree is. She figures out that tan(56) (5) = 7.41284843. So that means the apple is about 7.4 feet high

- Some time has passed and Dynasty figures out that the apple has gone bad since She is color blind and has lost her taste. She couldn't tell me if the apple had gone bad or not.
- Dynasty wakes up and finds a small island close by that has an apple tree. She notices that the tree is 10 feet tall and looks at the tree at an angle of 35 degrees. She uses trig to figure out the hypotenuse of the tree because She is tired.. She figures out that 10/ sin 35 = 17.43446796. The hypotenuse is about 17 ft from the tree.
- I don’t feel so good. My stomach hurt.
- Dynasty then tries to set up a tent and spots a treehouse in instead that she is 6 feet away from the tree, she noticed that hypotenuse of her from the tree is 19. To find her angle of elevation she uses trig. She finds that the angle is cos^-1 (6/19) = 71.59151983… or 72
