- Battle of Lexington/Concord
- At sunrise on April 19, 700 British troops appeared in Lexington and came upon many military people and shots were fired. The redcoats were winning with only one injured, the other side had 8 dead and 9 injured. The British soldiers looked for them but they had already relocated. Most of them escaped and the British put the place on fire and left after hours.
- Battle of Cowpens
- The Americans surrounded the British at Yorktown. The Birtish were very much outnumbered by the troops. For serveral days they attacked the British continuously with bombs. Cornwallis demanded George Washington for his surrender but he wouldn't. Then the american troops were about to attack again and so Cornwallis finally agreed to surrender to George Washington and his Americam and French troops, he accepted Washington's terms and the battle was over. On October 19, 1781 General Cornwallis signed the British surrender. The document was called the Articles of Capitulation.
