  • Freedom rights have never been guaranteed but when Jefferson stated that every man should be free others objected. President Abraham Lincon then issued an emancipation proclamation that all men shall be free.

  • Frederick Douglass was a former slave who learned to read and write and became a leader in the abolitionist movement. He changed history and continuously fought for equal rights.

  • Changes to the board of education didn't happen overnight and yet we are still figing for some changes but the Brown v. Board of Education brought lots of attention to what was going on. Changes in schools and buildings were made over time and sought to be finally equal.

Although it might not seem like a big deal a big chunk of your power is taken when you engage with your mobile devices. The documentary encourages you to get off your phones and be independent.
