Am I crazy for considering an M.Ed. at my age? With all my responsibilites at work, in the community, and my family? Can you teach an old dog new tricks? What if I fail?
I would like to start my M.Ed. but I am having doubts I can do it. What should I do?
By having my supervisor supporting me, I felt a little relieved. She too was an adult learner and her support was encouraging.
I am thinking about starting an M.Ed.
You got this! If I can be of help, please let me know.
I survived the first week and am enjoying the discussions and learning new things. I am growing personally and professionally. I can do this with support from my family, work, and friends.
I learn better by doing, by using my hands, and trying something new. For example, this storyboard, it is the first time I have used one. I guess you could say I agree with Dewey's theory...I learn through a hands-on approach. I learn better through a humanism perspective. I was motivated to try something new and I am proud of the outcome.
