- Once upon a time, in the heart of America, there flowed a river named the Mississippi. I, the Mighty Mississippi, begin my journey from the clear mountain streams in Minnesota
- As I flow through the North, I pass the breathtaking Great River Bluffs State Park, where eagles soar high above the rugged cliffs.
- Continuing my adventure, I venture into the Mississippi River Valley. Here, I join the Missouri River, becoming even mightier as we merge and flow as one.
- As I travel farther south, I encounter the city of St. Louis, where people can look at my waters from the Gateway Arch
- Moving onward, I encounter the farmlands of Midwest, where corn and soybean fields thrive with the water I provide
- Sometimes my path is altered by human-made dams, but I continue my journey, finding my way through channels and locks.
- Along my banks, you'll find a rich variety of fish, including catfish and bass. These creatures of water call me their home.
- As I near the end of my journey, I approach the welcoming Gulf of Mexico.
- Though my adventure may come to an end, my story continues in the memories of all those who have been touched by the Mighty Mississippi's flow.
