- Early Life: Julius Caesar was born in Subura, Rome in 100 BCCaesar was born into a common family.At age six he was taught by a privatetutor in which he learned how to read and write. After his father had diedhe became the head of the house and took responsibility for his mother and sister.
- Military:He joined the army and left Rome to avoid Sulla and his allies. After Sulla died, Caesar became a military hero. Later he became a consul and defeated Pompey after fighting with him for 18 months.

- Popularity with the Plebeians:The plebeians loved Caesar’s militarycampaigns and had wanted him to be their leader. Leading him to quickly rise up in the ranks in the Roman Government.
- Popularity with the Plebeians:Caesar would give the people landand would let them participate in the government which is why the people loved him and gave him their support when he needed it.
- Dictator for Life:After having Pompey killed, Caesar returned to Rome and became the most powerful man in the world. He made many changes. He built new temples and changed the calendar. Caesar ruled like he was the king.

- Assassination:Many people thought that he had too much power and decided to kill him.The leaders of the plan were Cassius and Brutus. Once Caesar entered the Senatte, many people run towards him and killed him. Caesar died onMarch 15, 44BC
