  • At "closes in conquences" . Ay, marry He closes thus. "I know the gentlemam. I saw him yesterday"-or "t' other day" Or then, or then, with such or such-"and, and as you say,There was he gaming....
  • My lord, I have.
  • God be wi' you. Fare you well.
  • Observe his inclination in yourself.
  • Farewell
  • Good my lord.
  • I shall, my lord.
  • How now, Ophelia? What's the matter?
  • With what, i' th' name of God?
  • O my lord, my lord, I have been so afrighted!
  • My lord, as I was sewing in my closet, Lord Hamlet, with his doublet all unbraced; No hat upon his head; his stockings fouled,, Ungarted, and down-gyved to his ankle; pale as his shirt; his knees knocking each other...
  • Polonius teaches reynaldo on what to say when he gets to Paris. He sends Reynaldo there to find out information on what poloniuss son is doing down there. He suggests that Reynaldo says stuff like hes wild and a drinker who visits prostitutes.
  • Mad for thy love?
  • What said he?
  • My lord, i do not know. But truly, I do fear it
  • As polnious is teaching reynaldo on what to ask and say, he advises him to be careful and to not always trust gossip. Reynaldo understands what hes supposed to do.
  • Come, go with me. I will go seek the king. This is the very ecstasy of love, Whose violent property fordoes itself and leads the will desperate undertakings....
  • At last, a little shaking of mine arm And thrice his head thus waving up and down, He raised a sigh so piteous and profound As it did seem to shatter all his bulk And end his being. That done He lets me go, And, with his head over his shoulder turned, He seemed to find his way without his eyes....
  • As reynaldo leaves the room, ophelia enters to tell her father some information. Ophelia comes in saying she had such a scare and her father responds in concern. Opehlia says that hamlet has gone mad from the way he looks.
  • That hath made him mad. I am sorry that with better heed and judgement I had not quoted him. I feared he did but trifle and meant to wreck thee. But beshrew my jealousy!...
  • No my good lord. But as you did command I did repel his fetters and denied his access to me.
  • After being told about hamlets condition, polonius thinks that hamlets is mad for ophelias love. Ophelia then agrees that that may be the answer. She then goes into detail about what hamelt did next to her.
  • He took me by the wrist and held me hard. Then goes he to the length of all his arm, And, with his other hand thus o'er his brow, He falls to such persual of my face As he would draw it. Long stayed he so.
  • Ophelia then says that hamlet shaked her arms a little bit more then left the room with his eyes still on her. This situation is what scared ophelia. Her father then believed that he is indeed crazy in love which i such a violent emotion that he thinks to tell the king about this situation.
  • Ophelia informs her father that she did what he told her to do and sent back his letters. Polonious regrets telling her to do so after he knew how he was going to react. He insists on telling the king.
