- Inheriting the crown after all his older siblings died, King Johnhad become the new King of England. As King, he lost all his father's land and was a very abusive, and demanding King who increased tax like no other.
- Okay Fine!
- That is when the rebel barons and all the King's subject under the feudal system started plotting and demanding their rights.
- Magna Carta Memorial, Runnymede, Surrey, England. No free man shall be arrested or imprisoned or diseased or outlawed or exiled or in any way victimise, neither will we attack him or send anyone to attack him, except by the lawful judgment of his peers or by the law of the land.
- They tried everything to get his attention. From asking to meet with him, taking over London, and more. However, nothing got King John's attention until they tried asking Prince Louis to become King.
- Death has reached me.....
- In June 15th, 1215, Rebel Barons agreed to meet him in neutral territory. Where he had no other choice than to sign the Magna Carta, which would limit his rule, and provide more rights to his people.
- The Magna Carta was officially signed!
- King John attempted to go behind the baron's back with the pope's help to make this signed paper useless. However, at the end of the day, it did not work, and he had to flee. During his journey, he lost all his treasures including the crown and eventually died.
