Why do we have to move out now that these neighborhoods are actually nice?!
How am I supposed to move on such short notice with all my children!
Central Business District
I should go to the store across the street to get some food...
Rural
This picture shows how gentrification effects people when neighborhoods are upgraded and the residents have no other choice but to move out. A lot of people don't like this phenomenon because it changes their homes and it's only useful to the wealthy.
Sprawl
Central Business Districts are usually the centers of a town, so there are people in this image going about their day. Central Business Districts have stores, and places where people can work at, so it is frequently busy here.
New Urbanism
Yes! My town is like this because buildings are kept in the same style.
Rural areas are regions away from civilization, far from towns. This image shows a guy going back to his home and it contains animals and plants he takes care of. Usually, people living like this do not have a job in town because it would be too much to travel every day.
Gated Communities
I am glad I can overlook the neighborhood from the safety of my home.
Urban Sprawls occur when urban development continues and expands from cities to suburbs. These areas tend to have a lot of houses that look similar or are exactly the same, and they have designated shopping centers which are away from these neighborhoods.
New Urbanism is when development is planned so that the environment won't change drastically over the years. Older buildings are kept around and new buildings are made to look similar to the old ones so that the atmosphere will stay the same.
This place is so old fashioned!
This picture depicts a neighborhood separated from public spaces. Communities like this are made to prevent break-ins, control entrances, and to have more security. Visitors usually have to register there in order to enter a community like this. The people living here can exit their homes without worrying about the public.
