Hi! I'm Saha the blood cell! I travel through your body to deliver blood!
I'll take you through each place and explain what I am doing!
Today I'll take you through a day in my life. Get ready for a ride!
Libisema: 2
First I enter the heart through theSuperior or Inferior Vena Cava which leads to the Right Atrium. Then I pass through the tricuspid valve and into the Right Ventricle. The Right ventricle contracts and pushes through the Pulmonary Valve and out of the Pulmonary Artery. Here, I am only OXYGEN POOR.
Libisema: 3
I then go get oxygen from the lungs which makes us OXYGEN RICH
Libisema: 4
We enter back into the heart from the Pulmonary Veins which lead into the left Atrium. I then pass through the bicuspid valve and into the Left Ventricle. Then the left ventricles contracts and pushes us through the aortic valve and to the body through the Aorta
Libisema: 5
Me!
Once I get back through the heart, I have to deliver oxygen to the body.
Then I go back up to the heart.
Libisema: 6
Once I get back to the heart after spreading oxygen through the body, I don't have any oxygen which means I repeat the process again and again.
