- We can also see if the red hair is a Homozygous dominant or a Homozygous recessive by this pedigree chart which shows what your past ancestor traits were. According to the pedigree chart it shows that the husband's hair color is most Homozygous dominant because theirs a lot of his family that has brown hair and the wife is Homozygous recessive because people in her family does not a lot of red hair.
