- Let's take a field trip to the regions of Texas! We'll visit the four regions and learn lots of facts!
- Welcome to the Mountains and Basins region! This is a desert region that gets less than 10" of rain per year! Did you know that El Paso is so far west that it's in another time zone?? It's true!!
- Welcome to the Great Plains! Cotton crops are starting to grow here in Lubbock, Texas! Later, we can go see Texas Tech! Fun fact: did you know Edward's Plateau is hilly land that's great for raising angora goats?? Also, in this region there's Palo Duro Canyon -- it's the second largest canyon in the USA! Only the Grand Canyon is larger. WOAH.
- North Central Plains is my favorite! We can go tubing down the Brazos River, stop by Waco and watch a Baylor game, and then head on to COWTOWN in Fort Worth!
- In the Coastal Plains, we can do some shopping in the big city of Dallas,, then we can drive to Houston, visit NASA, and then go to the beach at Galveston! This region gets more rain than any other region!
- Hmmm, the trip is over! Let's go back to East Texas and have a campfire under the pine trees! Texas is a great place to live! The four regions are so different, and each one has some awesome features!
