- We had been at sea for months. I had assumed it would be a short time in the war and right back home. But I was wrong, and being a part of Odysseus's crew proved to be challenging....
- Finally an island!
- Odysseus stayed in the ship while I went onto the island with my fellow comrades. When we came to the island we saw beautiful women with flowers in their hair.
- They offered us all sorts of flowers for us to eat, which we happily accepted. Considering we haven't had food for weeks...
- I forgot all of my worries, I started jumping around and singing with the others. I wanted to stay on the island forever. I was just in a state of pure bliss.
- Days turned into weeks, as we stayed on the island eating the flowers. Odysseus started to grow worried. So he decided that he would look for us on the island......
- The women tried to get Odysseus to eat the flowers. But he didn't and dragged us back to the ship. Thank the gods for Odysseus or I might have died on the island....
