Ash and Eiji were brothers, They lived in a small house in the forets, near the mountains. They had been poor alway their live. They didn't have money or animals. In their house used to have two rooms. Every day they got up and used to had sweet black coffee for the brak fast. Then Ash was going to work in the feilds. But Eiji just sat and loked at the hot, empty desert and the hot, empty sky.
They lived with their mother. She took cared of them, but she was old and tired.One day she said, "we're poor and hungry. Why don´t you leave here and find work?, We need money for food and clothes".
He was very happy, and in return, He gave Ash a box. "Don't open in until you get home", he said. "and be careful with it. It's very valuable".
"If you want some money, ypu have your silver ring-you can sell that" answer Eiji
Ash wanted to help his mother, and he dicided to leave home. His mother gave him bread, and water in a glass bottle. He kissed her, and he walked towards the mountains.
Ash walked for five days through the mountains. At night, It was very cold. Then one evening, he arrived at a rich and beautiful palace. The prince in the palace welcomed him. He gave him food and drink, and Ash slept in a comfortable bed. Ther was aone strange thing, the windows had not glass.
The next day, Ash said goodbye. He wanted to thank the prince and gave him something, but he only had his empty water bottle. He gave it to him. The prince was very surprised.
"what´s this?" He said. "I can se through it! It´s beautiful!It's wonderful!"
Ash walked through the mountains again, and after five days, He arrived home. Eiji and their mother watched him open the box. He had found 100 gold coins inside. His mothet was very happy!.
"Ash, you clever boy!", she said. "Now we could buy food and clothes!". The next nigth, Eiji made a plan "100 gold coins inreturn for a glass bottle", he thought. "If I give the prince my mother's silver ring, perhaps I can get 1,000 gold coins!"So Eiji gots up, went very quietly into his mother's room, and took her ring from a box under her bed. The next morning, he asked his brother where the palace is, and he left
