- Felix is a ten year old Jewish boy whose parents left him at a Christian orphanage three years ago to protect their family book business. This is happening during World War II.
- CLIMAX
- After seeing Nazi officers burning Jewish books in front of the oprhanage, Felix decides he wants to escape the orphanage to find his parents and figure out whats actually going on. On his way out he helps another orphan make up stories to not get bullied.
- FALLING ACTION
- After escaping the orphanage, Felix comes across a burning house with a family inside, with burning crops. With a throbbing head and fatigue, Felix finds a girl passed out in the field, He saves her from the fire, her not knowing her family is dead. Her name is Zelda
- RESOLUTION
- When Felix is out getting medicine for Zelda, The Nazi officers find their hideout and they are caught with Barney, and are thrown into train cars to a concentration camp
- While in the train carriage, Felix notices a section of rotten wood and they kick a large hole in the side of the train, giving many people the chance to jump out and flee.
- Felix and Zelda jump out of the opening in the side of the train and roll onto a field, escaping the Nazi train.
