- Felix goes to Mother Minka's office to ask about his parents but a Nazi sees him. Mother Minka explains to Felix that his parents didn't send the carrot but Felix leaves anyway.
- Felix roams around the mountains and steals some food from an abandoned house then continues on. He sees that the river is red with what looks like blood, but it couldn't be...
- Felix arrives at his old town only to find other people living in his parents shop! Mr. Kopek tells him that his parents are going to the city.
- Felix finds a girl named Zelda who's parents have been killed. He takes her with him.
