  • I WANT TO KNOW WHERE MY ASSIGNMENT CERTIFICATION IS!!!
  • What do you want Marbury? Can't you see the president is busy?
  • Thank you
  • *sigh* Come in Marbury.
  • So you see Marbury, since Adams didn't mail the appointment letters, Madison destroyed them. Sorry.
  • He can tell you what happened. I'm out of here.
  • Marbury marched up to the White House to get the story on why his appointment never got delivered. Madison meets him outside.
  • Madison lets Marbury inside so they could talk in private.
  • UNCONSTITUTIONAL?!NO WAY!!!
  • It has been decided. Forcing your letter to be returned is unconstitutional.
  • As they walk into the Oval Office, Jefferson greets them with a smile and tells what happened. Madison steps out.
  • Title... is... Judicial... Review...
  • At the hearing of this information, Marbury files a lawsuit against Madison. Hence, probably the most important court case of all time, Marbury v. Madison.
  • As the court case moved up the ladder, it finally made it´s way to the Supreme Court. After the hearing, the Supreme Court found it unlawful to force Madison to give Marbury his appointment, but this also gave they're judge, John Marshall, an idea to give the Supreme Court better rulings.
  • After Marshall ended the case, he wrote the case file for Marbury v. Madison. Which stated the concept of Judicial Review. Judicial Review is when a case, like the one, is encountered, justices can go back tot the constitution and look to see if a law is constitutional or not.
