  • So did y' hear the story of the Johnstone twins?
  • Micky. Don't shoot Eddie. He's your brother...
  • I could have been . . . I could have been him!
  • Mrs J, nobody must ever know. Therefore we have to have an agreement.
  • .
  • With one more baby we could have managed. But not with two.
  • They're born, you didn't notify me.
  • My husband is due back tomorrow, Mrs Johstone. I must have my baby!
  • Couldn't I keep them for a few more days, please, please.
  • This is a picture of the future of the Johnstone twins. Mickey was upset and mad about not being given away and accidentally shoots Edward, sadly Mickey then gets shot.
  • See, this means that we're blood brothers, an' that we always have to stand by each other.
  • Mrs Lyons wanted a son for her Husband (Mr Lyons) but they had been trying but nothing came for them. Mrs Johnstone found she was having twins and made a deal to give one son to Mr Mrs Lyons.
  • Edward . . . how would you like to move to another house?
  • Much better now, darling. Oh Edward, look, look at those birds . . .
  • 7 years past
  • Mrs Johnstone had the twins and didn't notify Mrs lyons, she wanted to keep the twins for a few more days because they are a pair and they go together. Mrs Lyons however needed her son because Mr Lyons was coming home (from working away) so she needed her son by then.
  • Where nobody's heard of our name.
  • If only i could dance!
  • Mickey and Edward meet up and find they were born on the same day, and sadly were restricted to not play with each other. They disobeyed that rule and became blood brothers.
  • Well I'm nearly eight, really.
  • I'm older than you. I'm nearly eight.
  • Mrs Lyons was not a fan of Edward and Mickey mixing (as they were not the same) and begged Mr Lyons if they could move houses. Edward refused and didnt want to leave Mickey behind. Mrs Johnstone gave Edward a locket with a picture of Mrs Johnstone and Mickey (so he wouldn't forget)
  • Are you feeling beter now, Mummy?
  • Mrs Johnstone decided it was time to move, and have no reputation following her and would soon move to somewhere that no one knew their name. Mickey gets excited again after being heartbroken by Edward and his family moving houses.
  • I'm not laughin', I'm smilin'. I haven't seen you happy like this for ages!
