- Proclamation of 1763After the French Indian War, colonists were banned and not allowed from moving west over Appalachian Mountains. While Britain tries helping relations with Native Americans, the colonists viewed it as an attempt by British to control them.
- Hey, we fought for this land! We deserve to take it by all means!
- I'm sorry, but this is off-limits! You are not allowed to take this part of the land!
- Maam, you are required to as the Quarting Act states! Do not make me take high charges on you!
- This isn't fair! I have no idea who you are and I am NOT going to allow you to just walk into MY home!
- The Quarting ActThe Quarting Act stated that the British soldiers were legally allowed to walk into a colonist's house without any trouble and they had free will when it came to this. This made the colonists really mad!
- The Stamp ActThe Stamp Act was when colonists were being taxed on all their goods, from newspapers to beyond. They were extrememly upset about it and wanted to protest for it and their rights!
- It is so unfair that we are now being taxed on all of our goods! They've gone mad!
- We should arrange a protest! This is out of hands, honestly!
