The Marvelous Adventure of Rockity the Rock

- Awesome, I am magma, a form of molten rock! I was erupted out of this volcano, and turned into lava! I mean, I wonder if I'll ever cool down, since it is super hot in here... luckily not as warm as the mantle.
- I wonder what my future holds for me!
- Awesome, I am now an igneous rock! That means that I have been cooled down by the air, and crystallized into a rock! Remember, I used to be molten rock, called magma, meaning I was hardened and crystallized when I cooled.
- This is so cool: I am a sediment! I have been broken down via weathering and erosion, and deposited in a brand new place! Looks like I have been taken down stream, to another area of the mountain range!
- I have finally reached the sedimentary rock stage, woohoo! Through compaction and cementing, I have been transformed again! This compaction and cementing made me congeal, and combine with other sediments to form a new form of rock!
- This is awesome, I am now a metamorphic rock! Through heat and pressure, I have been transformed to another rock stage! I have been pushed into the ground more and more due to the pressure: just look at all of those levels are rock!
- Unfortunately for us, our coverage of the adventures Rockity has experienced has come to an end, but no worries, as his journey will continue! Rockity can go through the whole process again if Rockity totally melts, and is deposited as molten rock called magma in the mantle again. Rockity could take a shortcut by being broken down from the processes of weathering, and eroding, and being relocated via deposition/displacement, making him a sediment again; or could experience metamorphosis, and transform from a metamorphic rock, to another metamorphic rock, and in this process, heat and pressure is present, like what occurs when sedimentary rock transforms into metamorphic rock.
