In the Bible we are taught that Jesus was the final sacrifice.
What do you mean? There will never be an end to sacrifices.
Because Jesus was perfect - which is a requirement for sacrifice - he was the final sacrifice so that we might be saved and not have to offer sacrifices anymore.
It was a proper sacrifice, all the requirements were met.
His crucifixion was nothing but a death of a common criminal.
Jesus was brought before Caiaphas, the high priest.
Jesus was the sacrifice.
What about the victim?
Was a priest present?
God received it as he would receive any other sacrifice.
The cross.
How about the tool?
Who received the sacrifice?
The final sacrifice had to be human, and Jesus met all the requirements.
Many bystanders who mocked him.
Witnesses?
Excellent.
I realize that this might be a lot all of a sudden.
I think from this point on I will begin to limit the amount of sacrifices offered and begin to work to cutting them out completly.
It is but I do see your point and I understand it.
