- I myself also endured the same experience to Nosipho by one of the managers and did not report it because he was threatening that I will lose my job if I reported him.
- Mrs Maqanda, here at work our managers are taking advantage of us as women and wekeep quiet because we do not know who to report to. And another thing we areafraid of is losing our job.

- The shop steward although holds their status in the workplace still has a to gain permission from their manager in order to leave their position mediate an issue in the workplace.

- The shop steward gathered a small meeting with all the employees that had issues in the workplace. Mrs Maqanda gathered this meeting to get an insight of how the employees are treated at work so that she can find a solution to solve it.
- From that store there have been more reports that were filled by employees against these managers due to sexual harassment and after that they threatens them that they will lose their jobs if they report them.
- Mr Maqanda I have listened to you very well and the way forward here is that you need to set up a meeting to address this situation ASAP. And we trust you that you will deal with this the way it need to be dealt with.Thank you…
- Here the shop steward and the employees came to an agreement with regards to reporting any and all incidents that may fall under sexual assault.
- Good morning everyone…. I have called this meeting today because it has been brought to attention that here there is sexual harassment taking place and it is done by one of the managers here towards several fellow employees
- Mrs Maqanda the shop stewards will now carry the information gathered further on so that it can be handled by the union leadership.
- A shop stewards provides information to union leadership regarding new developments and issues within the collective bargaining unit and at the company
- A shop steward also organizes the meeting of the local collective bargaining unit Mrs Maqanda is required to prepare the meeting agenda and conduct the meeting accordingly.
