- The congress of Vienna was an international conference held to reconstitute political order in Europe. One of the outcomes of this event was the German Confederation was created, which was one of the causes of German unification

This created issues between Prussia and Austria because Austria was excluded from this, which caused a lot of issues concerning German unification, which is why we still have Austria as a country today.

- There were a lot of revolutions that had different reasons, however all failed. Some of these revolutions however were for German unification and independence, among other reasons, lots of people died but the point was pushed further

- This war was over German unification, to either create a Germany with or without Austria. Prussia won this Civil War which resulted in the exclusion of Austria from Germany.

- This was the final act of german unification. It was stirred and orchestrated by Bismarck with a goal to pull the Western German states into alliance with the northern German Confederation. When the French were defeated, the German Empire was complete, and German unification ended in the Palace In Versailles
