This created issues between Prussia and Austria because Austria was excluded from this, which caused a lot of issues concerning German unification, which is why we still have Austria as a country today.

There were a lot of revolutions that had different reasons, however all failed. Some of these revolutions however were for German unification and independence, among other reasons, lots of people died but the point was pushed further
