the son spent all the money that he had. He spent every cent of it on drinking and partying with a harlot in town.
He then told himself in my father's home I never get hungry because there is always plenty of supply. I will go home and tell my father, I have sinned against God and you so please forgive me.
After many years of wandering around town and bars, he went broke and famine struck him. he then remembered his father.
My son was dead, and is alive again. so call the servants to prepare a big feast.
