  • Macbeth goes to the three witches to ask them his questions. The witches tell him that no man born of woman can defeat him, that no one can kill him until Burnham wood comes to his castle and to beware Macduff. Macbeth also asks them if Banquo's children really will become kings, the witches show him an illusion of Banquo's childrens wearing crowns.
  • Macbeth makes his way to Macduff's castle to kill him and his family. He finds out that Macduff isn't at the castle, but he decides to kill his family anyway.
