- In the start of the play , banquo and macbeth come across the three witches.
- Act 1 Scene 1
- the three whiches tell macbeth and banquo a prophecy , ironically enough ross appears and
- speaks to macbeth , to tell him that he is thane of cawdor.
- this scene macbeth is hallucinating seeing the dagger before deciding to kill duncan.
- Macbeth imagrey of the dagger is after talking to banquo .
- Act 2
- Macbeth is in distress and going crazy because he just comitted a murder.
- He has the dagger still in his hand and duncan blood on his hands. he is panicking
- Act 2 Scene 2
- Lady macbeth is trying to calm him down and the realizes that he has the dagger.
- lady macbeth gets anger and bring back the knife .
- Scene 3
- Macbeth wasn´t sure about killing duncan until lady macbeth insults his masculinity, he then makes up him mind to kill duncan.
- throughout the play in this scene you get to see the power dynamic in the connection / relationship.
- Scene 5
- after killing duncan , macbeth was announced king. The prophecy came true, the two sons ran because they were suspects.
- macbeth later realizes that banquo was with him when they went to see the whitches so he killed his bestfriend.
