  • Well, I'll explain it.Classical conditioning is the procedure in which an initially neutral stimulus is paired with an unconditioned stimulus. The result is that the conditioned stimulus begins to elicit a conditioned response.
  • So, basically you can control animals? Only animals?
  • Is a process in which animals learn about the relationship between their behaviors and their consequences
  • But how is that possible?
  • Control? Not like controlling, more like training. We can use it with humans too.
  • And what if I want to keep the behavior?
  • They use many resources, for example extinction or a punisher. Those help to reduce or eliminate a behavior you don't want by not giving any type of reinforcement or giving a negative one.

  • Then you need to use a reinforcer. Theystrengthens the behavior or increases the likelihood that it will be performed it again. It can be a reward or even a nice comment like You're doing great
