- In school recently we are learning about gender, caste religion. Sometimes when you get to know the harsh truth of the reality of the world its shocking
- Ya, i know right... in my class we were discussing the inhuman and unfair situations faced by people due to such discrimination
- In India, there are followers of different religions. People should be able to express in politics their needs, interests and demands as a member of a religious community.
- Yes, i totally agree, anyone should be allowed to choose and follow an religion they want to, but they should not dare to interfere with others matters.
- Communalism can take various forms in politics, the most common expression of communalism in everyday beliefs involves religious prejudices, stereotypes of religious communities, and belief in the superiority of one’s religion over other religions.
- Which is absolutely unfair i must say, it is the misuse of power...
- With economic development, large scale urbanisation, growth of literacy and education, occupational mobility and the weakening of the position of landlords in the villages, the old notions of Caste Hierarchy are breaking down. The Constitution of India prohibited any caste-based discrimination and laid the foundations of policies to reverse the injustices of the caste system.
