- An oracle tells a king and queen that their son, Oedipus will murder his father, so they send him to a shepherd to be killed.
- Please kill our baby.
- What...?
- The shepherd does not kill Oedipus and gives him to two other shepherds who adopt him.
- Oedipus hears that he will kill his father so he leaves his adopted parents because he had no idea he was adopted. On his travel, he encountered a man speeding. They got into a fight and Oedipus killed him. The man was his real father.
- A sphinx was killing anybody in the city who incorrectly answered its riddles, so when Oedipus got it right, she killed herself. He was a hero and was going to be made king. The queen, however, was his mother.
- Man—as a child in the early years crawling; as an upright man in his middle years; and as a man with a cane in his later years.
- Aw man, I'm gonna kill myself.
- What creature walks on four legs in the morning,two legs in the afternoon, and three in the evening?
- Oedipus marries his mother, but the truth of who he is gets revealed by a blind prophet.
- What!?
- You are her son and you killed your dad...
- Ashamed, Oedipus's mother kills herself and Oedipus blinds himself and requests to be banished.
- I must be banished...
