- The symptoms for Athens included fever, thirst, bloody throat and tongue, red skin, and lesions. The Antonine plague was possibly an early appearance of smallpox that began with the Huns.
- Spanish Flu, Russian Flu, & Asian Flu
- Entailed diarrhea, vomiting, throat ulcers, fever, and gangrenous hands and feet. This was carried by rats and spread by fleas.
- Covid-19
- These resulted in the building of numerous leprosy-focused hospitals to accommodate the vast number of victims. However, because of the number of deaths, cities began to reak.
- The flu's caused about 1 million people to die rapidly. The 3 cases of flu are mainly airborne and spread rapidly through many countries.
- COVID-19 virus was officially a pandemic after barreling through 114 countries in three months and infecting over 118,000 people. And the spread wasn’t anywhere near finished. This is something that is happening worldwide, as of today.
