- Peleus, a mortal, and Thetis, a goddess, we’re getting married. Every god/goddess was invited except Eris, because she’s the goddess of trouble.
- Erie barges in, wanting to cause trouble. She throws an apple at the three most beautiful women. It says ‘for the fairest of them all.’ The goddesses, Hera, Athena and Aphrodite, start fighting for it.
- They went to Zeus, to ask who was the most fair. He said he didn’t want to choose, and sent them to a Shepard called Paris to ask him instead.
- Paris (Son of Troy,) l choose Aphrodite because she promised him to most beautiful women in the world, (Helen of Sparta.)
- He realises that he is son of the King of Troy, so he goes and visits them. He also realises that Helen is married to Menelaus King Of Sparta,
