- God made everything, including YOU! He loves you very much.
- "For God so loved the world..." John 3:16
- God is Holy-this means He is perfect. He wants you to live with Him in Heaven someday when you die because He loves you very much.
- Heaven is where God lives. The street there is paved with gold!
- There is one thing that can never be in heaven with God.....
- ...that is sin. Sin is anything that breaks God's law like lying, stealing, or being mean. The Bible says YOU were born in sin and have done wrong things.
- "For all have sinned." Romans 3:23
- This part always makes me sad.
- The punishment for sin is death. Being separated from God forever.
- You might be wondering... "IS THERE ANY HOPE!?!"
- HOPE LN.
- Lets sit here on this bench while I tell you about hope.
- God loves you so much, that He came down to earth and was born as a baby in a manger. Jesus lived a perfect, sinless, life because He is God the Son.

- Even though He didn't deserve it, Jesus allowed Himself to be arrested and nailed to a cross for YOU. He took YOUR punishment for sin. He died in YOUR place.
- "Without the giving of blood, there is no forgiveness." Hebrews 9:22
- Jesus was buried in a tomb, but He didn't stay dead. Three days later, He came back to life and is alive in Heaven.
- As you can see, there is hope. But you have to choose for yourself. Do you choose to believe in Jesus?
- Wow, we've learned a lot on our journey! Lets make a stop at my old classroom and review it. You were born in sin, the punishment for sin is death, Jesus died on the cross to take your punishment for you.
- Believing in Jesus means you trust that He is the only one that can take away your sins. Once you believe in Jesus, He gives you everlasting life and has a very special promise for you.
- Because of what Jesus has done, you can have your sins forgiven. The Bible tells us how... "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
- Going back to nature reminds me of growth because trees and grass are always growing. Once you trust Jesus as your Savior, God wants you to GROW to get to know Him better.
- Lets get out of this boat and take a walk while I explain some ways you can GROW to know God better.

- God wants you to have a relationship with Him by reading His Word, the Bible, and Praying!
- Once you believe in Jesus, he promises in His word, the Bible: "...never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5)
