- once upon a time there was a emu named Goolbree. emus were large birds, with big wings and beautiful feathers. he was most proud of his feathers!

- one of Goolbrees flaws was being jealous. he was jealous and angry. he was jealous of the brolgas and kookaburras and would play nasty tricks on them.
- HAHAHAHAHA
- daily goolbree would send his wives out and all the little dennewans to collect berries, and quongdongs, even though he knew the closest quongdong tree was miles away. goolbrees job was to look after the eggs.

- one day when the wives and babies were looking for berries, a big rainstorm came. at camp there was no shelter so goolbree had to protect and keep them dry. however he did not do that at all. the eggs were soaked.
- the wives were horrified at goolbree. they were soaked and had to dry off by the fire. when goolbree tried to join them they told him to go, when he didnt they kicked the hot coals onto his feathers. his feathers were gone.
- goolbree had changed in a good way, however he had no wings or beautiful feathers anymore. this is why the emu doesn't have wings and can't fly.
