Süžeeskeem Tekst
Later that day Timmy's mom asked him if he knows what a therapist is. She was surprised by how little Timmy knew.
Thats mean Timmy. And not true.
Have you ever heard of a therapist?
Only weird and crazy people have a therapist.
Timmy's mom explained what a therapist does. She taught him that seeing a therapist doesn't make someone weird.
A therapist helps people who are feeling sad, or just need help feeling more like themselves
People see therapists to talk about what's bothering them. Then the therapist tries to help them feel better.
That night as Timmy was falling asleep he thought about what his mom told him.
Maybe if I talked to a therapist I would feel like my normal self again...
Before Timmy left for school the next day he talked to his mom.
I think that's a good idea. I'll look for someone today.
Mom, I think I want to talk to a therapist.
Later that week, Timmy went to see a man named Daniel. Daniel is a child psychologist and Timmy thought his office was was cool and colorful.
Hi Timmy. How are you today?
I'm sorry to hear that. What do you think is upsetting you?
I'm okay. I've been feeling really sad lately.
Timmy felt a little bit better on the way home from Daniel's office.
I am looking forward to seeing Daniel again. I can't believe I thought only crazy people go to therapy.
