- The failure of Tsar Nicholas II in directing in WWI causes many suffering, such as: inefficient transport, lack of food and medical care. Local organization called Zemostrovs helped take care of wounded soldiers and improved the living standard.
- Stalin’s Requisition of Grains
- The return of Vladimir Lenin from Switzerland perform public speeches giving the idea of “Peace, Bread, and land”, he also believed violence was important to overthrow the old system.
- Red Army
- In February 23, 1917 International Women’s Day, working women protested in Petrograd, leading to Tsar Nicholas II relinquish of his throne.
- USSR
- In 1918, the Russia Civil War had began, Joseph Stalin and Leon Trotsky was elected into the Five-man Presidium organized by Lenin. In May, he was send to Tsarizin for requisition of grains, he also burn down villages preventing bandits to rob it. This helped the victory of Tsarizin and established political relationships with the First-Cavalry.
- During the Russian Civil War, Trotsky built the “Red Army” and secret police “Chekhd” to fight their enemies.
- After the armed uprising victory of Petrograd in October, USSR was declared, they constructed socialism and highly improved their social productivity, which increased their economy to the second place in the whole world.
