- Katniss was so far away from other tributes that the game makers started shooting fire balls at her so that she would run to the careers. After running away from the fire Katniss saw the careers and ran up into a tree to get away from them but they had already seen her so they ran to the bottom of the tree. After a failed attempt of climbing the tree Cato decides to wait until she comes down to kill her. But Katniss is badly burned and really needs to rest so she stays in the tree for awhile. But lucky for Katniss Haymitch was working his magic and got the sponsers to send her medicine.
- Step 10: The road back#160;
- Katniss and a little girl named Rue see a trackerjack nest and decide to cut it. Trackerjacks are highly poisonous hornet like bees that can kill a human. In the end she cuts it off and it falls down and kills the girl named Glimmer but when Katniss was cutting the branch she got stung three times and is now having delusions but Rue helps her and they become allies.#160; #160;
- Step 11: Resurrection
- By cutting the trackerjacker nest Katniss got a bow and arrow and could now defend herself and Rue. But little did Katniss know that Marvel who was one of the careers had a different plan for Rue. Marvel came and threw a spear at Rue and then she died so now Katniss made a promise fo\ Rue and her sister Prim that she would win the hunger games.
- Step 12: Return#160;
- Katniss finally found Peeta and was happy to see him but Peeta was really badly hurt from a wound that Cato gave him. But Katniss was determined to make Peeta better and win the hunger games together as an announcement was called saying that two tributes could win if they were from the same district so that was their plan.#160;
- There is only Cato, Peeta and Katniss left and they are on top of the cornucopia so Katniss shoots Cato in the hand and he falls off which means Peeta and Katniss have won the hunger games but then they announce that there can only be one victor. Katniss and Peeta decide to both die by eating poisonous berries and not let them have a winner but then they let them both live and have two victors.#160; #160; #160;#160;
- Wait! Wait! We now have the victors of the 74th annual hunger games Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark!
- Katniss and Peeta return to district twelve and go back to their normal lives but little did they know that president snow was very mad at them. But now they live in the richest part of district twelve and they now are living a pretty normal life.
