- Joker indeed never forgot that day. After that beating, Joker's vendetta for the world grew only stronger. Day by day he became eviler and a bigger threat for Batman. Batman also became more heroic in his own right, due to his internalized goal of protecting the innocent and ridding the evil monsters in the world.End of Book 1
