The Founding of Rome

- After the fall of Troy, Prince Aeneas and other Trojans fled the destruction to Italy. They founded cities such as Lavinium.
- There were 3 heirs to the throne: Numa, and his children, Amulius and Rhea Silva. Numa was King, but Amulius had other opinions.
- I, Amulius declare that Numa will be expelled, and the Rhea Silva will be forced to become a vestil virgin princess so she can't have a son, who will be the heir to the throne
- I, God Mars disagree with you Amulius. Rhea Silva and Numa should be free to make their own decisions. In fact, I will make sure that Rhea Silva has children
- So, Remus and Romulus were born, but Amulius ordered them to be thrown in the river, but thankfully, there was a flood, so they were washed ashore, where a wold and a herdsman found them. Remus and Romus grew up and became skilled fighters, with a lot of supporters.
- After they met Numa in prison and realised that they were the heirs to the throne, Remus and Romulus set out to build their own city, but they quaralled a lot. Romulus took over the Palentine Hill, and Remus took over the Aventine Hill. This led to even more conflict, until Romulus decided to murder his brother, and he became the single heir to the throne.
- We should build a great city on a mountain!
- No, not on a mountain. It should be close to the sea. What you are saying is ridiculous!
- Ok, well if you don't agree with anything then I have no other choice but to kill you.
- Great! Now, with all of your support, we can build the city of our dreams! We will call it Rome, after my name. But, the only problem is that we have no women. So, I have an idea, since no other cities want to form an alliance. We will organise a sports event, and you will abduct all the un-married women, so that this city will be never-ending!
- YAY!
- Now that King Romulus has died, I will be your leader. This is becayse, Romulus came from heaven and told me that Romr should be the capital of the world, since no human power can withstand Roman supremacy!
