- Jesus Heals The Ten Lepers(Luke 17:11-19)
- Jesus is on his way to Jerusalem and passes through the border between Samaria and Galilee.
- This should be a nice journey.
- As he was going into a village, ten leprous men met him. They stood at a distance, and called out in a loud voice.
- What is going on?
- 14 Go, show yourselves to the priests.
- 13 JESUS, MASTER, HAVE PITY ON US!
- Jesus leads the men with leprosy to a church to cleanse themselves. As they went, they were cleansed.
- I AM HEALED!
- Later, one of the men came back to Jesus with praise.
- Who is this? The leprous man?
- Messiah! Messiah! Son of God!
- He threw himself at Jesus' feet thanking him. However, Jesus was thinking of the whereabouts of the other nine.
- 17Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? 18 Has no one returned but thus foreigner?
- Thank you good Samaritan. Without you, I would have not been free from my leprosy
- 19 Rise and go; your faith has made you well
- I wish I saw the other nine, it would have been nice to see them well.
