- oedipus's parents find out they have to give their son away due to a prophecy
- oh no! i have to give my child away due to an oracle saying that he shall grow up to marry me and kill my husband
- oedipus is adopted by the king and queen of Corinth
- No problem!
- Thank you kind Shepard Shepard for giving us the child we always wantedthank you kind
- oedipus finds that he might be adopted so he goes to an oracle to prove that theory wrong only to only find out that a prophecy says that he will murder his father and marry his mother
- this is untrue!! how can this be?
- oh no! i must leave Corinth at once to prevent this prophecy from happening!
- the prophecy says that you will one day marry your mother and kill your father
- you are adopted!! muhahahahaha
- oedipus leaves Corinth and gets into a brawl at a crossroads which leads to him killing several people he later gets to the city of Thebes and defeats the sphinx and becomes king of Thebes and marries Jocasta the queen of Thebes and has 4 kids with her
- I have to leave and never come back!
- oh no what have I done!
- oedipus finds out that the prophecy came true, and when he goes home he finds Jacosta dead and he gouges his eyes out later banishes himself and leaves with his daughters/sisters
- oh no my wife, umm i mean my mother!!
- you killed your father and married your mother

- yay i did it !!
- yay we just got married!!
- come with me my daughters or should i say sisters, your brothers will stay and rule but we are banished
- oh noo!! father or should we say brother!!
