The Reign of Terror is when the public started being violent. The largest part of this stage is the beheading of Maximilien Robespierre with the newest and best technology : the guillotine. This tool ends up impacting the Revolution massively because it killed over 17,000 people.

The Moderate Phase of the French Revolution had so many factors in it that were each important in their own way. Here is when the Legislative Army is formed, which is important for obvious reasons. The Storming of Bastille was also here, which was important because it set off a series of events that led to the overthrow of King Louis XVI and the French Revolution.
