- Ismene -"Antigone you are mad! What could I possibly do (Antigone 28)"?
- In this scene Antigone is telling Ismene that she will bury there brother who died a miserable with or with out her but she is asking her for help but Ismene is not agreeing

- "But think of the danger! Think what Creon will do (Ismene 36)."
- "He is my brother. And he is your brother,too (Antigone 34)."
- In this scene Antigone is basically saying that Ismene is not being loyal to herbrother and that she should reconsider. On the other hand Ismene is saying that creon is going to punish her very badly if she does.
