- Let's discuss how we can conserve water.
- Turn off the water while brushing your teeth.
- Use your automatic washingmachine only for full loads only.
- We should not use pipes forwashing the car instead we should use bucket.
- Take shorter (5 minute) showers.
- Wash your fruits and vegetables in a pan of water instead of running water from the tap.
- We should call plumber when pipes and taps are leaking.
- Fill your sink or basin when washing and rinsing dishes.

- Yes We all know.
- Water conservation is important for several reasons:
- Waterdistribution is uneven and therefore, large parts of India remain deficient inrain, as well as groundwater.
- This unequal distribution across the country, makes most of the population face water scarcity.
- The requirement of water in urban areas is higher than the availability.
- Since rainfall in India is highly seasonal, water is required to irrigate crops.
