- The Hijrah
- After some of his folllowers have been attacked Muhamad moved to the town of Yathrib.Later he ganed many devoted followers and Yathrib was renamed Medina.Thene he displayed impressive eadership skills and he made an agreement that joined his won with the Arabs and Jews. By these groups he was considered a political leader. He later became a military leader in the growing hostilities between Mecca and Medina.
- In 630, the Prophet and 10,000 of his followes marched unto the outskirts of Mecca and they entered the city in triumph. He destroyed the Ka' aba and had the call of prayer from his roof. Most Meccans pledged their loyalty to Muhammad , so many converted into Islam.

- Located in Jerusalem in the thrid most holy place in Islam.It is located in Mount Moriah site of the jewish temple destroyed by romans in 70 A.D. The rock on the site os the place where muslims say Muhamad assended to heaven to learn Allah's will and he later returned with the blessing of Allah to bring God's message.
