He also threw away his k-pop CDs and stopped reading Korean children's books. Jason also refused to eat korean food and wanted American food and instead of speaking his native language he decided to just speak english like others.

He grew up trying to accept himself and the names to him symbolized how to accept himself as for how he is and spoke up about it and soon realized that he will forever be Korean and needs to be proud of himself.
