- Fredonian Rebellion (December 21, 1826)
- The Law of April 6, 1839
- No more settlers are allowed to move to Texas.
- The Arrest of Stephen F. Austin (January , 1834)
- It was the first attempt by Anglo settlers to be independent from Mexico. Haden Edwards was the leader of the Texas settlers.
- Battle of Gonzales (October, 1835)
- The Mexican government made it illegal for more settlers to come into Texas.
- Battle of the Alamo (February, 1836)
- Stephen F. Austin was sent to jail because he was accused of treason.
- Battle of San Jacinto (April 21, 1836)
- The Battle of Gonzales was the first battle in the Texas Revolution. The Mexicans tried to take the cannon that they gave to the Texans. But they were unsuccessful.
- The Alamo was when the Republic of Texas found the Mexico. Mexico won and killed a lot of the Texans in the building. Santa Anna was giving the orders for the Mexican army. William B. Travis was giving orders for the Texian army.
- Sam Houston and his men defeated Santa Anna. Santa Anna allowed Texas to become it's own state.
