- Candy, your dog stinks and he is getting old, ill make it quick.
- In this scene Candy is crying because he feels bad that he is not the one who shot his dog and that he loved his dog
- I should have been the one to do it George , I should have let a stranger shoot my dog
- What are you laughing at?!?!
- In this scene Curley is upset that lennie is laughing because he thinks he is laughing at him so he gets up in his face
- Thinking about rabbits
- In this scene Curley starts hitting Lennie and then George tell him to get him so Lennie grabs his hand and will not let go

- In this scene slim tells Curly that if he tells anyone that he didnt get his hand caught in a machine or try and get them fired he would make a laughing stock out of him
- Your hand got caught in a machine
- In this scene George is reassuring Lennie that he is ok and that he knows he did want to or mean to and Lennie feels bad because he really didnt want to hurt anybody
- I didn't want to hurt em George I really didn't
- Its ok Lennie you aint done nothing wrong its not your fault I aint mad
