- Rainsford was smoking a pipe on the deck of his yacht. He dropped it and was leaning over to pick it up h when he fell overboard. His boat kept going and his only choice was to go towards the gunshots.

- Rainsford started walking and came upon a chateau. I scary huge man came out and was pointing a gun at him. A man came out from behind and introduced himself as General Zaroff and told the giant Ivan to stand down. Zaroff then w
- Traps
- Rainsford learned what General Zaroff hunted, humans. Zaroff wants Rainsford to hunt humans with him but Rainsford would not. Zaroff decided the if he didn't hunt with him then Rainsford would be hunted.
- Final Duel

- One of us is to furnish a repast for the hounds and the other will sleep in this bed

- Rainsford went as far as he could away from the house. He made false trails and looped back and forth but Zaroff didn't fall for any of it.
- Rainsford made many traps to try and kill Zaroff. The first one gave Zaroff a slight injury. The second traped killed one of Zaroff's hunting dogs. The third trap killed Ivan. After that Zaroff got mad and sent his dogs after him. Rainsford jumped off into the water

- Rainsford surprises Zaroff in his bedroom and challenges him to a duel. Rainsford kills Zaroff and ends his craving for hunting humans.
